The data is gone
During installation, the data is copied to C:\Programs (x86)\PepperTools\. The data is in a different directory in %APPDATA%\EasyInvoice\After starting the software, the software checks each time whether the data directory is available - not only after the first installation. Only when it's completely gone will the directory be recreated and rebuilt to have some demo data after startup. The software never deletes data from this directory.
If the first installation was run in portable mode, the data was not in the above data directory but directly in the Easy Invoice directory. In this case, you can start the old installation again with a new installation and check whether the data is still there. In this case, the new installation would use the data folder and therefore empty data, and the old installation would use the old data.
You can also open the data folder mentioned above and look in the subdirectory Invoices\. There must be 4 PDF files for each invoice. Here you can open some as a test to see if they are still available.
Alternatively, the only option is to restore a backup using the backup copy function in Easy Invoice.
