My hard drive is defective
If your old hard drive fails, you can recover data as long as you have access to that hard drive. If the hard disk is no longer displayed in My Computer, you can no longer save it yourself. In such a case, I would recommend reinstalling the software on the new computer and importing a backup copy that you previously made via Easy Invoice. But there are also specialized companies that have specialized in such hard drives and can still read them. However, this is quite expensive.Install the software on the new hard drive through the installation file. The software can simply be downloaded again using the following download link and installed on the new hard drive:

Easy Invoice data is all located in the following directory:
%APPDATA%\EasyInvoice\
If the directory is completely copied to the new computer, all the data will be there again. Only the license would then have to be re-entered.
When you type the above path into Windows Explorer, Windows resolves the %APPDATA% to the path. This reads as follows:
C:\Users\-WINDOWS USERNAME-\AppData\Roaming\
The Windows user name is replaced by the user name registered on the PC. So if you look for this folder on the old hard drive you will see the path as you have to click through it. Drag the data from there to the new hard drive - of course under the new Appdata path with the correct user name.
