Adjust the PDF quality
The quality of the PDF invoices is controlled in the standard in such a way that an average size and quality is generated. This is to ensure that the e-mail with the PDF invoice arrives at the e-mail recipient. The destination mail server determines how large an email can be before it is rejected. Many providers reject files larger than 5 MB. Accordingly, you have to find the balance between quality and size.It is advisable to have the stationery printed by the printer, place the stationery sheets directly in a slot at the printer and print on them. Good and cheap offers can be found, for example, at “WirMachenDruck”. Especially in the first few years, I found that it is cheaper to have it printed – the printer doesn't constantly go on strike, you don't have to keep buying color cartridges and it looks more professional.
Settings for the output PDF document can be found in the software under “Settings” -> “General settings”. There you will find the “PDF Compression” and “PDF Image Format”. A separate driver from another company is used for the PDF. These parameters are passed to this driver so that the result can only be influenced to a limited extent. I recommend using “BEST_COMPRESSION” as the setting and “JPEG” as the image format.
